quick-n-easy socks

This is kind of taken from the grey shop socks we all know (here in iceland) and love. i did it with double threaded (plötu) Lopi and size 4 needles. i guess with triple threaded they would be even thicker. these are quite warm enough though.

***

this is approx. size 38

leg:
CO 44 sts
K2 P2 for 30 rows (or longer if you want)
K 1 row

heel:
K 22sts back and forth on 2 needles (P on the wrong side).
every row slip the first st and dont knit the last st. so every row there are 2 less sts knitted than before (you're kind of making a triangle).
when there are 2 sts left unknitted on each needle you start knitting back, every row K2tog and M1 (also on P side, which is a bit harder :/ ).
end on P.
now you should again have 22 sts and a heel.

foot:
K 30 rows
now start making the toe, K2tog in the beginning of needle 1 and 3 but K2tog at the end of needle 2 and 4.

this is the first pattern i write down for other people so plz tell me if(what) needs to be better :)
yay!
